Petrolink Signs Letter of Intent with Petrosab in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Petrosab, a company of the Yayasan Sabah Group, is an oil and gas company in the Malaysian state of Sabah. The state-owned Petrosab was established in 2005 and already has collaborations with e.g. Petronas and Shell.

The purpose of the collaboration between Petrolink and Petrosab is to provide services to the oil and gas industry in connection with. operational preparations, operation of process plants and operational support. It involves carrying out studies, carrying out consultancy, preparing technical documentation and procedures, carrying out competence assurance and training as well as contributing with technical personnel during the preparation and implementation of operational tasks.

Through the collaboration, Petrolink will gain access to a new and growing market for its services, while Petrosab will gain access to expertise and experience in order to realize its vision of becoming one of the leading oil and gas companies in Malaysia.

Petrolink has already initiated the establishment of its own office in Malaysia and the hiring of local personnel.

The letter of intent was signed by Petrolink’s CEO, Dag Nedrum, and Dr. Johan Arriffin bin Datuk Hj Abdul Samad, who is the chairman of Petrosab.
