Petrolink has Signed a Frame with OMV for Operational Support

Petrolink has signed a frame agreement with OMV for supplying operational and pre-operational support for the Wisting Field planned to operate in the Barents Sea.

OMV (Norge) AS is the Operator for the field and has Statoil Petroleum, Idmitsu Petroleum Norge and Petoro as partners. OMV is the operator for several licenses at the Norwegian Continental Shelf and in addition partner in many other fields. The details of the Scope of Work will be specified in the Wisting project and most of the work will be carried out in Petrolink’s offices at Forus. 

Petrolink is very satisfied with the trust showed by OMV by awarding us this frame agreement says Mr. Dag Nedrum, President and CEO of Petrolink. This frame agreement is the first contract the company signs with OMV and Petrolink will adjust their services to the needs of OMV, both with regards to capacity and competence.

Petrolink supports operation of offshore installations, subsea facilities as well as floating production units. The company also supports onshore oil and gas terminals, refineries and process facilities including LNG terminals. In addition we have been involved in support to facilities producing electrical power and capture of carbon. Our services include operational support and consulting related to concept selection, operational readiness and assurance, ORA, commissioning, start up and operational support. Our customers are mainly Operators and Partners in Norway as well as internationally. We have our main office in Stavanger and offices in Aberdeen, Doha and Kuala Lumpur.
