On 1 March 2011 Petrolink was taken up as member of the Regional Industry Training Association (Opplæringskontoret for Industrifag i Rogaland – OFIR). For Petrolink this represents an important step forward as to further broadening of the company’s competence and service offerings as well as for recruitment of new staff.

The membership has already paid off as our first apprentice started on 1 May 2011. His program will eventually make him a process plant control room operator following internal training at Petrolink and practical training through secondment to a local industry partner.

Training and technical services are key parts of Petrolink’s offering to the oil & gas and other energy related industries.
